Army Staff Sergeant Terrence Dunn of Harris, Texas died in Iraq of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. He was a member of the 210th Brigade Support Battalion, 2s Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY.

We see Staff Sgt Dunn through the eyes of others. The sisters of Army Staff Sergeant Terrence Dunn said he was a hero long before a roadside bomb killed him on February 2, 2007 in Baghdad. Thirty-eight year old Sergeant Dunn graduated from Pascagoula High School in Mississippi. He was a 1987 graduate and a member of the high school’s ROTC Program. He entered the Army three years later. Terrence served tours in Bosnia, Africa and Korea and was in the middle of his second tour in Iraq.

Staff Sergeant Dunn was an avid sports fan. Angela, Terrence’s wife of five years, notes that while he was not a wrestling fanatic, he’d even find a seat on the floor or in the front row believing that was the best way to watch a match and demonstrating his avid view of sports. He loved to travel and drive, and also enjoyed shopping and going to movies with his sisters. He was a quiet person who just simply got things done. His adventurous side was always on the go and doing good deeds for others in the meantime
